Terms of Service

Last updated: 30 August 2026. These terms govern your use of the Miatz website, web app, and mobile apps. Miatz is operated by Miatz Private Limited, a company registered in Karnataka, India (CIN U62013KA2026PTC226418, GSTIN 29AAVCM3922D1Z6). By using Miatz, you agree to these terms.

1. Your account

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use Miatz. You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and are responsible for activity under your account. Admission may require passing the Chuun. See our Privacy Policy.

Where an organization enrolls its own people, the Data Processing Agreement also applies to that organization and forms part of these terms, and the vendors it authorises are the ones published on the subprocessor register.

2. Acceptable use & community conduct

You agree not to:

  • break the law, infringe others’ rights, or upload harmful, hateful, harassing, or abusive content;
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access, disrupt the service, or evade security or rate limits;
  • cheat assessments, forge credentials, or misrepresent your work; or
  • scrape or resell the service or its content except as expressly permitted.

Miatz has a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive behavior in community features (forum, comments, profiles). You can report any content or user with the report/flag control. We review reports, remove violating content, and may suspend or permanently ban accounts that violate these terms, and you can block or avoid other users through your account controls. Contact hello@miatz.com to report abuse.

3. Content and credentials

You keep ownership of the work you submit and grant us the license needed to operate the program (e.g. to grade, display, and mentor). Course content and the platform are owned by us or our licensors. Credentials we issue reflect your verified progress; you may share them, but you may not alter or falsify them.

4. AI features

AI outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete; use judgment and do not rely on them as professional advice. If you connect your own AI provider key, you are responsible for your use of that provider under their terms.

5. Fees, taxes and invoicing

Nothing is sold on Miatz. There is no checkout, no subscription and no in-app purchase in the web app or the mobile apps, so using the platform never puts a charge on your card.

Learners reach Miatz at no cost to them — through the residency program, a full-day session, or an organization that has engaged us, such as an employer or a college. Where an engagement is paid for, its scope, price and payment terms are agreed in writing with whoever is paying for it and invoiced by Miatz Private Limited away from the platform. That written agreement governs the engagement; no figure published on this site is an offer or a binding quotation.

Invoiced fees are exclusive of GST and any other applicable tax unless the invoice says otherwise. Tax is charged at the rate applicable on the invoice date and shown on a tax invoice issued under GSTIN 29AAVCM3922D1Z6. Payment falls due on the terms printed on that invoice.

Because no transaction takes place on Miatz, these terms set no refund or cancellation window. Cancellation, rescheduling and any refund of an invoiced engagement are governed by the agreement it was invoiced under; write to hello@miatz.com and we will answer under that agreement. Nothing on this page promises a refund that the agreement does not give you.

6. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Miatz and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms or to protect the service and its users.

7. Disclaimers and liability

Miatz is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months before the claim.

8. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms, and any dispute arising out of them or out of your use of Miatz, are governed by the laws of India. The courts of Karnataka, India have exclusive jurisdiction — the state in which Miatz Private Limited is registered, at C-101, Lotus Tower, Arge Urban Bloom, 30/A, 4th Main, 2nd Stage, Yeswanthpur, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560022. Nothing here takes away a right you have under Indian consumer law to approach a forum where you live.

9. Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves; material changes will be posted here with a new date and, where appropriate, notified in the app. Continued use means you accept the updated terms.
