Grievance redressal
Last updated: 2026-08-30. A complaint about Miatz goes to a named person at Miatz Private Limited, not to a queue. This page is the contact of record under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules 2020.
1. What you can raise here
Anything you believe Miatz got wrong and did not put right when you first asked. In practice that is one of five things:
- Your personal data — a request to see it, correct it, or have it erased that we did not answer, or answered badly.
- A decision the platform made about you: an assessment result, a locked module, a closed account.
- Something published on the site or in a course that is wrong, misleading or offensive.
- Conduct — a mentor, another learner, or anyone acting for Miatz.
- An invoice or an agreement you hold with us.
A routine question is not a grievance and is answered faster by email to hello@miatz.com or on +91 82802 73456. Come here when that route has failed you, or when you want the complaint on the record from the start.
2. How to complain
Write to the officer above from the email address on your account, or by post to the registered office. Nothing is required beyond a description of what happened, but a complaint that carries these four things is one we can usually resolve without writing back for more:
- The account, invoice or page the complaint is about.
- What happened, and when.
- What you have already tried, and what we told you.
- What outcome would settle it.
You do not need an account to complain. If you never had one — a parent, a college, or someone whose data reached us another way — write from any address and say so.
3. What happens next
We acknowledge every complaint on receipt, so you know it arrived and who is holding it. The officer then investigates and replies with a decision and the reasoning behind it within 30 days of receipt. Where a fix takes longer than the answer does, the reply says what is being changed and by when.
Data-erasure requests follow the same clock but have their own form, because they need an identity check the rest of this does not: privacy requests.
4. If our answer does not satisfy you
For anything about your personal data, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India — after we respond, or if we do not respond in the window above. Nothing on this page limits that right, and you do not have to come to us first.
For a consumer complaint, the National Consumer Helpline and the consumer commissions established under the Consumer Protection Act 2019 are open to you on the same terms. Our courts and governing law are set out in the terms of service.
5. Money
There is no checkout on Miatz. Nothing is sold on the platform: every engagement is scoped and invoiced off-platform, so a question about what you were charged is a question about an invoice between you and Miatz Private Limited, and it comes to the officer above like any other complaint.
6. The other addresses
A security vulnerability goes to the disclosure policy, which has its own contact and its own clock. How we handle personal data in the first place is set out in the privacy policy, and the companies that process it on our behalf are listed on the subprocessor register. Everything else, including the registered particulars of the company, is on contact.
