School is the platform-owned AI engineering curriculum. It is authored once by miatz and served to every organization, so you choose from it rather than build it.
Two switches per course
- Show it — whether your learners see the course at all.
- Feed retrieval — whether its content is available to your assistant when it answers questions.
They are independent on purpose. A reference course can inform every answer without being assigned to anyone, and an assigned course can be kept out of retrieval.
Defaults and updates
A published course is enabled by default, so this screen is about narrowing. When miatz updates a course, your learners get the update — there is nothing to migrate.

Can I edit a platform course?
No. The catalog is authored and maintained by miatz and served to every organization. You choose which published courses your learners see; the content itself stays common.
What does the retrieval switch do?
It decides whether a course's content is available to your assistant when it answers. A course can feed retrieval without being on anyone's plan, and vice versa.
What happens if I show nothing?
Learners see no School content. The default for a published course is enabled, so this screen is about narrowing, not about opting in.
