What to check before you ship it in India

  • An extracted field becomes a record used to decide something about a supplier, a claimant or an employee. Section 8(3) requires completeness, accuracy and consistency wherever data drives such a decision or is disclosed onward, so a silent mis-read is a compliance failure and not merely a bookkeeping one.
  • Fields whose meaning comes from the page structure — a number that means something only because of the column heading above it — are where published evaluations show the widest shortfall against a person reading the same page.
