Making a short explainer video out of a written procedure
A standard operating procedure or a product note is cut into scenes, laid under screen capture or stock footage, and narrated by a synthetic voice, so a page nobody opens becomes three minutes somebody watches. The person who owns the procedure approves the cut before it goes out.

- A speech synthesiser with Indian-language coverage for the narration track
- Screen capture recorded against a seeded demo tenant, never against a live account
- A named procedure owner who approves the cut
What to check before you ship it in India
- The IT Rules as amended in February 2026 place routine, good-faith creation of educational or training materials — including illustrative, hypothetical, draft, template-based or conceptual content — outside the definition of synthetically generated information, so an ordinary explainer is not caught by that regime at all. Two things take it back inside: producing what amounts to a false document or record, and footage portraying any individual or event in a way likely to be perceived as indistinguishable from a natural person or a real-world event.
- Screen recordings made for the video routinely carry live customer records, and a published video is a copy of those records sitting outside every retention control you have. Section 4(1) allows processing only for a lawful purpose and only on consent or a legitimate use listed in section 7; capturing a real account into a training asset is neither, and the fix is a seeded demo tenant rather than a promise to blur.
- Generated footage still fails on continuity a viewer catches at once — a subject whose identity shifts between shots, motion that stutters, flicker across frames. These are measured dimensions rather than matters of taste, and the benchmark that measures them exists because the older single-score metrics did not align with human perception, and its own dimensions were validated against human preference annotations.
